Are you someone who:
At CrossFit Mettle, our coaches are dedicated to helping you become “ONE DAY BETTER”.
CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, FUNCTIONAL movement.
CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Elements of track & field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman are combined in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns, or movements that you find in real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.
CrossFit uses 10 fitness principals in the training method – endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing in any one fitness style.
CrossFit requires you to think, use your brain as well as your muscles, challenge yourself, learn, try new things you never thought you could or would. CrossFit teaches you to move your body with proper mechanics, stability, balance, and agility. You will feel the results in your everyday life.
CrossFit classes are designed for scalability and apply equally well to all individuals no matter their age or fitness level – as long as they are willing to put forth the effort. By varying the load and intensity, you start at a level appropriate to your fitness level and experience. This means everyone does they same workout varied only by their ability to perform it.
